Who is Patricia Timmons?

Patricia is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education and nonprofit industry. She has years in supervising and training course assistants and teaching fellows at Harvard Kennedy School. Also, Patricia served as a Canvas coach--training faculty and staff on the online learning platform when implementing the learning management software (LMS). Throughout her tenure, she became experienced with strategic planning, budget oversight, research, diversity & inclusion, student affairs, and teaching. Working in the higher education industry, she gained a passion for working with a diverse student population and finding ways to bring the best tools to enhance student learning.
Patricia is very passionate about helping all students succeed and want to research and develop strategic plans to erase education inequities. She has devoted her career to supporting educational equity for marginalized students. With this passion, Patricia considers herself a student success coach who helps young people and adults plan for their post-secondary education. Patricia finds ways to be creative, innovative, and a team player to accomplish her goals. She is currently pursuing a Doctor in Education in Community College Leadership and Administration at Morgan State University and striving to land a Student Affairs or Enrollment Management position. |

*Redesigned and built Standard Operating Procedures for the National Security Fellows Program with Faculty Chair
*Balanced over 15 research accounts and completed the account ledger for each one = Annually for six years
*Assist in designing the Rappaport Public Finance Summer Fellowship under the direction of Faculty Director = Two years (2016 + 2017)
*Taught and mentored a group of colleagues to learn Canvas, a new educational platform that was going to be installed on campus in less than two months = Three Months in 2016
